About The Lansdowne Hotel

The Lansdowne Hotel is a family run 28 bedroom hotel centrally located on the Hastings' seafront . All 28 rooms are non-smoking and en-suite with bath/shower, hairdryer, telephone and television. The Hotel has a bar, a restaurant and 24 hour reception. There are many shops, restaurants and bars 5 minutes away, including the Meadow Shopping Centre. The Old Town has many attractions including the Sea Life Centre, the Shipwreck Heritage Centre and Hastings Castle. PLEASE NOTE THIS HOTEL HAS CHANGED MANAGEMENT. Since taking over in June 2010 we have made many changes i.e. all the beds has been changed with memory foam mattresses, there is WI-FI in 90% of the rooms. We have put all new linen, new pillows, duvets, net curtains and flat screen televisions in all rooms. We have improved the lounge area with draught beer on tap and free internet for our guests. As you can appreciate there is a limited amount we can do in peak season. We intend to carry out some of the major works in winter when we will close off the top floor and do a total refurb on this floor. We will put in new windows, shower rooms, ceilings, carpets and all new fixtures and fittings. We hope to do at least one or possibly two floors this way while keeping distruption to a minimum.
